In 2007 Lindsay Kroll sought an opportunity to use her entrepreneurial spirit, her passion for fashion, and her collection of antique cake plates to create Cake Plate – a women’s boutique. 

In late 2008, Lindsay’s sister, Paige Smith, a personal stylist and merchandise marketer in Los Angeles, moved back to Napa to join Lindsay at Cake Plate. Together they focus on buying classic, yet modern styles, and creating meaningful and lasting relationships with clients.

Cake Plate combines women’s clothing and accessory designers with timeless styles that relate to fashionable women everywhere. A contemporary, fashion conscious woman can find pieces suitable for tea at the Ritz, a night on the town, or a backyard barbeque.
